St. Armands Circle, a high profile retail destination loved by international tourists, just had two buildings sell for $15.5 million. The two buildings total about 8,800 sq ft, so the buyer paid a breathtaking $1,760 per foot. Orion Real Estate Group and Limestone Asset Management (both out of Miami) formed a joint venture to buy the buildings. The seller, Bayrock Investments, is out of North Carolina. The largest and best known tenant is Tommy Bahama. The purchase was financed by Ocean Bank.
