AdventHealth is about to begin construction on a $220 million hospital and medical office complex in Riverview (south Hillsborough County). The facilities will include an 80 bed hospital and 100,000 sq ft of medical office space. Last year Advent acquired 22 acres in Riverview for $4 million for the hospital. Groundbreaking for the project is planned for August. AdventHealth has about $180 million in additional projects planned for the Tampa Bay area focused on their Care Pavilion concept. Care Pavilions are envisioned as one stop shopping with a doctor, pharmacy, labs, and imaging gear all in one place.
