1,155 acres in eastern Manatee County was acquired for $38 million for development of Parrish Lakes. The development will include about 3,300 homes, 400,000 sq ft of retail space, and 50,000 sq ft of office space. Parrish Lakes will be about 3 miles east of I75 and lie between Moccasin Wallow Road and Erie Road near Parrish. The seller is FLM and the buyer is Hawk Parrish Lakes. The deal comes to about $33,000 per acre.
