The Warehouse Boom Between Tampa & Orlando Could See Another Big Spike From The Coronavirus Pandemic

Changes caused by the Coronavirus are expected to accelerate the already strong growth in warehouses between Tampa & Orlando.  Customers have turned to online shopping due to the virus & have learned they can get almost anything online.  New habits will change customer behavior moving forward.  While it can take a while to build a new warehouse facility, with perhaps a year of paperwork before construction can begin, the transactions are large.  In east Tampa warehouse projects of 250,000 to 300,000 square feet are considered large.  Around Lakeland projects of over 750,000 are considered large.
